while march 1st is
national m&m day, today is
international m&m day. that's right, you canadians can join in on this one.

m&m face says mm(m) for m&m's |
as most holidays are created to celebrate the joyous victory over trials and hardships, international m&m day is no different. i have made it 365.242 days without eating a single m&m which basically equates to the suffering of the great depression.
today we must make our forefathers & foremothers proud and indulge in that 56oz bag of m&m's.

care package from my old running partner to ensure the day is properly celebrated |
if mars, inc. was publicly traded, yesterday would have been a good time to buy shares.
Oh yes!!! Thank you for letting me know...a bag is in the works today!!
ReplyDeleteit is my duty to inform the world of these important holidays :)
DeleteYou crack me up. Only you would come up with the idea to make art with your m&ms.
ReplyDeleteAll Hail the M&M!!
ReplyDeleteThis is an important one to mark--thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day! I love M&Ms.....love them :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm carb loading for a half on sunday... which kind of M&Ms should I eat? the pretzel kind?
ReplyDeletepretzel and/or peanut (for the protein, of course)! good luck in your half!
DeleteHow perfect it lands on your birthday (unless you lied on FB!! :)). Have a fantastic M&M filled day special day! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday chica!!! I hope it's all the chocolately goodness you dreamed it would be!
ReplyDeleteI love some M&Ms... I might have to pick some up myself after reading this :). Or either go out for FroYo and make sure I include some in my dish...
ReplyDeleteeither way, you can't go wrong!
DeleteDidn't your mother say never play with your food??? How many days? 365,242.........
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. I actually had m&ms yesterday for the first time in ages. Now I want them again. I'll probably eat a bag and blame you, then forgive you because I have a HUGE (ummm 5 mile) race tomorrow and will surely need the extra calories to survive until the finish. :)
ReplyDeletehaha. it is never *my* fault when i over eat... usually my husband's. i'll pass the blame on to him. i hope the m&m's helped you make it through the race!
DeleteTo have a birthday on the "14th" is special! Happy Birthday and enjoy your special day-and the bagful of goodness!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! That means I'll have to pack some in my long run care package today.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are aware of multiple M&M holidays. And I want you to know that when I took a short break from eating super well after my last race (I stayed gluten free but cheated on the dairy a little) M&Ms was one of the few things I "cheated" with. So yummy. Coconut are my favorite but i love them all. Eat some for me today!
ReplyDeletewell... technically i make up these holidays... i'm still waiting for m&m / mars to contact me regarding a lucrative sponsorship deal.
DeleteHm, and sadly I had no M&Ms today..
ReplyDeleteIt is the perfect holiday. I wish I had known, I would have sent you a card :) BTW love that you are so into M&Ms that you know they aer not publicly traded. LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha. Next year, mark your calendar! ;)
