i finally had an mri on my head wednesday, as if i needed proof to support the fact that i'm mental :) should get the results back soon... in the meantime i'm entertaining myself with the 900 pics they gave me on a cd.
check out my freaky eyeballs
my brain is making an angry face in this one
i wish i knew how to interpret these things!
wow... that's trippy! Hope they find something (non-serious and easily fixable of course) to explain issues you've been dealing with.
ReplyDeleteNice brain:)
ReplyDeleteI hope the MRI is negative, and all they tell you is that you have too many neurons and synapses and just needed a little rest and everything will be OK! Hang in there, the waiting for these things is a b#tch!
I hope you get some answers soon :)
ReplyDeleteCreepy pics...lol. Fingers and toes are crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and hoping you get wonderful results from your MRI:) Keep smiling....you know, I hear M&Ms are pretty good for everything:) Just saying...maybe you could just have a few:)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see that you're getting thing checked out. That's funny that they gave you a cd to keep. I mean...how are you suppose to know what anything means? But it is amusing.
ReplyDeleteI hope everything turns out ok.
Looks like a very smart brain to me. Seriously, I hope you get a good answer really FAST.
ReplyDeleteTake care! Let us know asap.
First things first.......
ReplyDeleteKUDOS to you for surviving going through a MRI in the first place!! They absolutely suck. Especially if you're claustrophobic, like me.
I would have to be completely knocked out before being shoved into the doughnut hole from hell ever again!!!!
I've seen so many patients get MRI's, I wish I could read them better. Here's hoping you get a good report!
cheesy peeasy I hope they get it all figured out soon!
ReplyDeletenice 'balls! I hope you get some good news, and soon.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's an interesting way to look at yourself. Looks normal to me.
ReplyDeleteHeading to Gambier, OH this weekend. Hoping the weather takes a turn for the better.
Whoa... those are trippy! I don't know what I'm supposed to hope for in this? That they find something to fix so you don't have to feel crummy anymore or that they don't find anything... No matter what, I hope you have a positive outcome in the end!
ReplyDeleteWell, I have some ability to interpret these pictures and I must confess I see nothing good. Obsession, bad marathon obsession all around the head...
ReplyDeleteGood pictures! I hope all be all right.
ReplyDeleteRemember, you have to run a lot of marathons!
By the way, you have a beautiful brain!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything comes back normal or at least not serious! I wish I could interpret such things too. When we went for my big ultrasound, I just wanted to be able to understand what all the crazy measurements meant!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Doesn't that last one look like an alien?
ReplyDeleteSending good wishes and prayers!
Very interesting seeing YOUR head MRI. I think it would freak me out if it was my own though. lol.
ReplyDeleteseriously, though, I hope they can figure out what it will take to make you well.
I always struggle with things like this in my life, because obviously you want the MRI to be negative, but at the same point you want answers (and a solution). Hopefully you'll get some good news.
ReplyDeleteWow that is creepy! *Keeping my fingers crossed!*
ReplyDeleteSo cool and kind of weird! hahaha
ReplyDeleteHope you get results SOON!
hahah those pictures are awesome! Hope the results give you some answers!
ReplyDeletethats pretty crazy :)
ReplyDeletei hope everything comes back ok!! or at least they can find something to explain what is going on that isn't too serious.
fingers crossed for a good result. your brain photographs quite well!
ReplyDeleteGreat brain, Lindsay! I hope all is well with "it." It was so fun meeting you and congrats on finishing the race and having such a great attitude! I liked your comment about only having one shot at a race after SO much training. It really can be challenging!
ReplyDeleteWhat's next for you?
Sorry, no clue what the pictures mean.
ReplyDeleteI tracked you online. A late congrats on the marathon... even though it wasn't exactly what you expected, it's still a marathon!
Hope everything is okay.
I hope you get good news on the MRI. Those photos are crazy cool!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you got your own McDreamy doctor. :o)
ReplyDeleteI did take a neuroscience class in college, so I would be able to identify certain parts of the brain (although I forgot most of it by now..) Hope everything turns out OK with the MRI though..
ReplyDeleteI can only pick out grossly obvious abnormalities in any scan, so the only thing I can tell you is that my inexperienced untrained unreliable non-radiologist eyes don't see anything grossly obviously abnormal.
ReplyDeleteHelpful, aren't I?
Ok, freaky pics. Almost as creepy as the sonogram picture of my now=almost-6 year old nephew when he was about 6 months along in my sister. he had turned to face the camera and it looked like he was waving. Like a skeleton waving at me, it was CREEPY!
ReplyDeletei like the freaky way your eyeballs look. You've got to email me some of those! (ok, now I've just gone too far and gotten weird, I know!)
I don't see much, but I'm not a radiologist! Fingers crossed for you that it's all nothing! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm just catching up!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I'm glad you ran Bahston and finished it in a respectable time!!!! I'm glad you are going to the doctor and making sure you are healthy. It must have been crazy to have an MRI done on your head... It was something when I had to get it done on my leg... but I think i'd go insane if it was on my head...
well, i'll keep on reading!!!
Lindsay,
ReplyDeleteI know that this comment is looking back in your archives, but I'm intrigued by the brain scans.
How are you feeling? Do you worry about future bouts? How do you maintain sanity while you have this condition?
Hope all is well!
