i finally had an mri on my head wednesday, as if i needed proof to support the fact that i'm mental :) should get the results back soon... in the meantime i'm entertaining myself with the 900 pics they gave me on a cd.
wow... that's trippy! Hope they find something (non-serious and easily fixable of course) to explain issues you've been dealing with.

ReplyDeleteI hope the MRI is negative, and all they tell you is that you have too many neurons and synapses and just needed a little rest and everything will be OK! Hang in there, the waiting for these things is a b#tch!

ReplyDeleteKUDOS to you for surviving going through a MRI in the first place!! They absolutely suck. Especially if you're claustrophobic, like me.
I would have to be completely knocked out before being shoved into the doughnut hole from hell ever again!!!!
I've seen so many patients get MRI's, I wish I could read them better. Here's hoping you get a good report!

Whoa... those are trippy! I don't know what I'm supposed to hope for in this? That they find something to fix so you don't have to feel crummy anymore or that they don't find anything... No matter what, I hope you have a positive outcome in the end!

ReplyDeleteI hope everything comes back normal or at least not serious! I wish I could interpret such things too. When we went for my big ultrasound, I just wanted to be able to understand what all the crazy measurements meant!

ReplyDeleteI did take a neuroscience class in college, so I would be able to identify certain parts of the brain (although I forgot most of it by now..) Hope everything turns out OK with the MRI though..
ReplyDeleteI can only pick out grossly obvious abnormalities in any scan, so the only thing I can tell you is that my inexperienced untrained unreliable non-radiologist eyes don't see anything grossly obviously abnormal.

Ok, freaky pics. Almost as creepy as the sonogram picture of my now=almost-6 year old nephew when he was about 6 months along in my sister. he had turned to face the camera and it looked like he was waving. Like a skeleton waving at me, it was CREEPY!

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I'm glad you ran Bahston and finished it in a respectable time!!!! I'm glad you are going to the doctor and making sure you are healthy. It must have been crazy to have an MRI done on your head... It was something when I had to get it done on my leg... but I think i'd go insane if it was on my head...
