  1. That cell phone commercial is hilarious! I even love the ?laptop? the kid has at the end.

As for the 2nd video. I believe Albert Einstein said it best:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

  2. Love that phone (not so sure my parents don't still use one like that!). The hurdler--I have a feeling that's what I would look like if I tried them!

  4. re: courage to continue - That totally happened to Alice! She as running hurdles, fell, left half her knee on the track, and kept going until the coach realized she was crying, said it was OK to stop, and called Brian to come carry her to a medic. Once the asphalt chunks were removed from her knee she was OK - thank goodness - but she never ran hurdles again.

  5. After that video, I'm inspired never to complain again about my cell phone. I hope someone handed that hurdler some knee pads. I liked your Honey Milk post, funny title! I'll be watching you on Oprah :)

  6. Oh my gosh! Video number one was super funny:) Video number two made me think about watching a few of my daughter's track meets. She did not do the hurdles but I saw a few girls trip and fall along the way. Good for them for having the strength and courage to finish:)

  7. Nice foam roller and running post but I cringed at the hurdler! I think that I might have laughed out loud if I had been there, thankful that it wasn't me!! Poor girl, I hope she doesn't have too many EMOTIONAL scars from that run!! THe knee scars are probably bad enough.
Thanks for the giggle about the cell phone and did you see that lap top? Dinosaurs.

  9. Hey hey! I used to own a phone like that. Thought it was so cool that I was "mobile". Have I told you I'm old?

  10. That cell phone commercial is awesome! I remember my mom having a cell phone that was about that big, but you couldn't actually dial out on it (had no numbers) - it just connected you to the operator who had to connect you to the number you wanted. Times, they have changed.

  11. Oh my god, don't laugh but I think I remember those ridiculous cell phones. The first Lethal Weapon movie had one of them in it.

and that video of the girl on the hurdles - what a freaking crime scene! I just kept saying "ouch, ouch, ouch" every time she fell. Wow. Imagine that kind of embarrassment being videotaped. And then put on someone's blog... Er...um....

    LOL

  12. Love Courage the hurdler and the cell phone add sounds a lot like Casey Cassum (sp?).

If you ever need a guest poster let me know, I'd love to do it!

Have a great evening, Lindsay, and thanks for all the nice messages while I was away!

  13. It may be called Courage to Continue, but it shouldn't end with the kid crying in her hand. Of course, I've never had to do hurdles so I'll shut up.
Your guest blog post was great, I like how your guest writing appears more serious than usual, but you still sprinkle your humor throughout.
I think I'm due for a foam roller entering 2011, so as much as I despise Walmart, I'll patronize them.
