past two mondays:
this monday:
slight case of depression going on here. slight.
hey, let's lift the mood here with a recap of july. oh wait...
july 2010
total mileage: 51.60 (umm. this used to easily be my weekly mileage.)
time spent running: 7:52:51
days off: 23...
pounds gained: too many. i actually fit into my "fat work pants"; the ones i used to have to roll down.
days worked: 8 (best month ever!)
well if i can't boost my own self-esteem i will at least make someone else's day. the winner of the $60 csn stores giftcard is jess of see jess run! (jess, email me at lindsay at chasingthekenyans dot com to confirm your email address. i think i have it, but i want to make sure i send the right one on to csn.)
i almost gave up on the dice roller...
got too many 5's and 6's as the first number.
(i started numbering entries at 11 instead of 1, since you can't get a 0 on dice)
lisa of chasin' bunnies was the only one to guess our amazing vacation spot (but everyone who guessed got the extra entry) - we went to the french polynesia, tahiti and moorea to be exact. i'd so give up the internet any day to live there; josh on the other hand prefers civilization and walmart (how lame). ;-)
i'm still unpacking/re-settling at home (with a bunch of new goodies!), slowly working my way through my incredibly backlogged google reader and hopefully making it around to the new readers/commenters. yes, there will be wedding and h-moon pics to come! i mean it's not like i have running to talk about...
my lovely wedding shoes
i think my feet were photographed more than my face, haha
That vacation spot looks AMAZING!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the giftcard! I'm so excited!
Ok, I win the biggest a$$ on the planet award.
ReplyDeleteI can not believe I somehow missed the "I am just heading off to get married" post. I figured we had not heard from you because of that and your fabulous honeymoon (and Oh.My. God. I can barely breathe from the weight of the green monster sitting on my chest! That wedding venue and vacay spot are GORGEOUS!) but I missed the opportunity to wish you well.
I simply CAN NOT WAIT to see the pictures! Congratulations to you two very lucky people! The wedding and honeymoon are fun, but the marriage is BY FAR the best part!
Wow! That first picture is absolutely beautiful!! What a wonderful place to stay for a honeymoon. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCool shoes!
You got married in running shoes? Ahh! I LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI took photos at my cousins wedding, she also had sneakers (not as nice as yours)
ReplyDeleteI admit, I took many photos of her shoes! haha
I also have not been running so much. I broke the streak! :( It's that time of year, I guess.
Oh I love the wedding shoes & can't wait to see more pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'd be depressed too with the drastic change in scenery!!
I LOVED that little intro with contrasting the pictures! what a difference!
ReplyDeleteWell, congratulations on your wedding!! I completely missed it because I was off line for almost four weeks, but I see there haven't been any wedding picts put out yet...so I can't wait for that.
And those are pretty shoes. I can't wait to run again. Still have three months until the baby's due. I suppose I could walk...ha! ha!! I know I say that like I run or something.
I'm not sure I could return to work after a spot like that! Congrats again on tying the knot - no better way than with those amazing shoes!!! Welcome home and happy return to civilation, unfortunately :/

Welcome back! Isn't it funny (or sad) how your work calendar has a picture of the beach? Great job getting whatever miles you could get in for the month!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty cool sneaks, i have to admit. Will be cool when you actually run in them, and someone notices what they say on the back, lol.
